Jewell Joinery is a family run business based on the outskirts of Okehampton. Three generations of the Jewell family have worked in the practice. My father, Ron Jewell, started his apprenticeship when he was just 14 and in turn oversaw my apprenticeship, and more recently his grandson, Oliver. I now manage the business which remains committed to providing high quality bespoke joinery products.
In everything we do from general to bespoke joinery we ensure superb quality of workmanship, competitive prices without compromising quality with great customer service. We have worked on exciting barn conversions and specially commissioned projects such as the renovation of the Orangery and the 'Victorian Conservatory' at Gidleigh Park Hotel, Chagford and a footbridge spanning Lydford Gorge for the National Trust. Jewell Joinery are also proud to have been commissioned for the repair and replication of the 26 Victorian arched windows at the Okehampton Railway Station.
We are highly experienced in all aspects of joinery from design through to manuafacture and installation using the very best materials and a high degree of craftsmanship. All our materials, workmanship and attention to detail is guaranteed. We are proud of each piece of joinery we supply and our aim is for the customer to be proud too. If you have a project – large or small – please give me a call as I will be more than happy to take the time to discuss it with you.
